Dragon Hoarder
In Dragon Hoarder, you control a dragon that recently got their entire shiny hoard stolen. Luckily, the rare Shiny Rain that happens once every century, is going to happen for 3 minutes today. Your job is to balance the precious items towards your hoard. How many valuables will you be able to hoard until the rain stops?
Controls:
- Movement: Use WASD to move around.
- Sprint: Hold Shift to sprint.
- Jump: Reach new heights by pressing Space.
- Fly: Press Space while airborne, to change to flying mode.
- Interact: Collect wealth by pressing F or E near a coin or gem.
Tips:
- You can go one by one, but the game's point is to balance multiple items towards your hoard. You will make a pile in your head that will slowly fall if you grab more than one valuable at once. When moving, the pile will balance the opposite dirrection. Make it fall the way you want to go, and balance waiting for it to fall and moving.
- Sprinting/Flying/Both have increasing effect on the pile on your head. walking is 1x, and it increases to 1.5x, 2x, and 3x! if the pile is falling fast, Sprint/Fly/Both to balance it the other way!
- The item value is different for each one. Coins are 1 point, Emeralds are 2 points, Sapphires are 3 points, and Rubies are 5 points. Try to go for the higher values!
- Dont get too greedy! While the better items worth more, they are also harder to balance! Coins are flat, Emeralds are squares, sapphires have slopes at the sides, and rubies balance on a single tip. Carriying too much at once will make you go slow, since the pile cant tilt far until items start to fall, but the more tilted it is, the faster you move the items back. The trick is to find a balance between value and quickness.

total 257, cool music!
This game is so cute! Overall, I think it is super fun and plays well. One note I would make is there doesn't seem to be any reason to use the flying mechanic.
Totally agree! the game concept was another one entirely, but due to time limitations I changed it to this one halfway through. I already made the flying mecanic by then, so it kinda just stayed. I made it so you can tilt your tower more if flying (I never use it too).
